La WKF en el Campeonato de España Cadete y Junior

La WKF estuvo presente en el XXXVI Campeonato de España Cadete y Junior de Karate. Entre sus objetivos, elaborar un informe sobre la nueva máscara facial WKF.

The 36th Spanish Cadet and Junior Championships took place in Vitoria (Spain) a few days after the demise of President Faustino Soria. The Championships were presided over by the 1st Vice-president Mr. Benjamin Rodriguez Cabanas and counted with the presence of the WKF President Mr. Antonio Espinos. During the Opening Ceremony, the WKF President delivered a speech in which he rendered tribute to the memory of Mr. Soria and offered all the support of the WKF to the new leadership of the Spanish Federation. He also congratulated everybody for the success of the Championships and the maturity shown by everybody under such difficult circumstances. In these Championships has taken place the first reported use of the new WKF Face Mask. The WKF Medical Commission Chairman Mr. Rafael Arriaza and a team of collaborators attended the event and supervised all the operations in relationship with the Face Mask, between them the selection of the right size for each athlete. The results have proved to be 100% satisfactory. Following we show some of the statistics taken. NUMBER OF BOUTS 219 NUMBER OF FACE CONTACTS WHERE THE REFEREE STOPPED THE BOUT : 177 NUMBER OF TIMES THAT THE REFEREE CALLED THE DOCTORS : 8 (4,5 % OF THE 177 CONTACTS) FROM THESE 8 CONTACTS, ALL 8 WERE JUST SIMPLE MARKS LEFT BY THE SILICON REBORDE; THE BOUTS CONTINUED NORMALLY.

El 36º campeonato español Cadete y Junior tuvo lugar en Vitoria (España) unos días después de la desaparición del presidente Faustino Soria. El Campeonato estuvo presididas por el 1er Vicepresidente Sr. Benjamín Rodríguez Cabañas y contó con la presencia de la WKF Presidente Sr. Antonio Espinos.Durante la ceremonia de apertura, la WKF Presidente pronunció un discurso en el que rindió un homenaje a la memoria del Sr. Soria y ofreció todo el apoyo de la WKF a los nuevos dirigentes de la Federación Española. Asimismo, felicitó a todos por el éxito del Campeonatos y la madurez mostrada por todos en estas circunstancias difíciles. En estos campeonatos ha tenido lugar el primer informe del uso de la nueva WKF Face Mask. El presidente de la comisión médica WKF, Sr. Rafael Arriaza y un equipo de colaboradores asistieron al evento y supervisaron todas las operaciones en relación con la Face Mask, entre ellos la selección del tamaño adecuado para cada atleta. Los resultados han demostrado ser 100% satisfactorios. A continuación mostramos algunas de las estadísticas tomadas. NÚMERO DE COMBATES 219 NÚMERO DE CONTACTOS EN LA CARA DONDE EL ÁRBITRO DETIENE EL ENCUENTRO: 177 NÚMERO DE VECES QUE EL A´RBITRO LLAMA AL MÉDICOLA LLAMA DE ARBITROS MÉDICOS: 8 (4,5% DE LOS 177 CONTACTOS) DE ESTOS 8 CONTACTOS, TODOS FUERON SIMPLES MARCA DEJADAS POR EL REBORDE DE SILICONA; LOS COMBATES CONTINUARON NORMALMENTE.
